HELP
HELP NOW!
The world has witnessed the atrocities committed against the Palestinian people trying to survive Israeli occupation and genocide in Gaza.
While Western governments and news agencies are supporting these unlawful and inhumane actions through mass manipulation, propaganda and deception, the population of this planet is protesting against apartheid, genocide, ethnic cleansing and ongoing untenable oppression of Palestinians in the region.
Until real political changes benefitting the oppressed population happen, you can help - support organisations determined to make positive differences.
We will be adding organisations to the Help section, so keep checking back.
MAP are working hard not only to provide Palestinians in Gaza with immediate medical aid. They also provide a voice in the UK and internationally, speaking out on issues impacting people in the region. They say:
'Our programmes, designed and delivered by Palestinians, provide access to essential health services and build local knowledge and skills to address Palestinian health problems.
In times of humanitarian emergency, we are ready to respond rapidly with aid and assistance.'

The award-winning, Islamic Relief UK has a simple email on their site through which you can contact your local MP (UK), calling for them to support a ceasefire and cessation of the genocide in Gaza.
So far, nearly 68,000 emails have been sent from their website. One of their workers in Gaza says:
'The situation is extremely terrifying. I am writing these words and my house is shaking back and forth due to intense bombing...I feel terrified.
I feel this time we might not be able to survive...I can't imagine Gaza after this ends...'

In the first week of Israel's genocide in Gaza, the PCRF distributed necessary humanitarian aid to the value of
$1.7 million. Its workers are NOT safe in the besieged territory, risking their lives to help the victims trying to survive. Most of their staff are now homeless. They say:
'Our team of volunteer physicians, pharmacists, biomedical and professional procurement specialists are currently procuring, stockpiling, storing, and shipping aid through our trusted partners'

MATW is currently focusing on the horrendous plight of Palestinians. Due to Israel's inhumane refusal to provide safe humanitarian corridors for aid to reach Gaza, this organisation is stockpiling essentials to deliver as soon as is possible. You can help by donating, or by volunteering for them and helping them continue their work. They say:
'We have a strict system of accountability and transparency. We maintain detailed records of assistance distribution and regularly conduct...Our supporters and donors can trust that their contributions are making a significant impact on the ground.'

Established in 1968, the PRCS operated out of a refugee camp in Jordan. Today, it continues working in dangerous and damaged environments as it tries to help and support oppressed Palestinians. It became a full member of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies in 2006. They say:
'To prevent human suffering, the association aims to enhance its readiness to confront various emergency situations, such as natural disasters and the suffering caused by the occupation, and to continue providing and developing the association’s health and social services and programs in the homeland.'

Taawon is Palestine's biggest not-for-profit organisation. It came into being in 1983 after a group of friends decided to help the Palestinians trapped in Gaza. They have given out over $800million since then, and continue to be a determined presence in the territory. They say:
'For as long as our homeland remains occupied, our journey will thrust forward supported by a team of Palestine’s top talents; a team working to build generations of Palestinians capable of reaching their full potential, in spite of tragedies they live.'

International Rescue Committee (IRC)
The IRC is based in London. Its website may not be huge, but its Facebook account has some great content that is well worth looking at and sharing. You can help the IRC help people in Gaza by donating as little as £11 - that's just a few coffees to you, but it could provide shelter for those displaced by Israel's genocide. They say:
'Your gift allows us to deliver comprehensive help to people affected by humanitarian crises and will be used where and when most needed.
And, when combined with those of other donors, your gift becomes a powerful means to support our vital work, including education, health care, emergency support and job training for families in crisis worldwide.'

British Red Cross
The Red Cross is, perhaps, one of the most well known charitable organisations across the globe. While many people are calling for Israel to end the genocide, the Red Cross remains impartial, helping whoever needs help, regardless of religious or political beliefs and affiliations.
They say:
'Our teams on the ground have visited hospitals in northern Gaza, seeing death, destruction and displacement on a staggering level.
As they provide medical care, shelter and essentials, they’re feeling the walls of buildings shake from explosions – risking their safety to get vital aid to people living through this day after day.'
